Having a good understanding of the product that will
be traveling on conveyors out of the oven will help bakers
choose the right equipment, said Jerry Daly, sales engineer,

" Is the product oily, sugary, soft or fragile? " he asked.
" What is the temperature of the product when it exits the
oven? The answers will direct the designer to use specific
types of belting that will convey the product without damage
and maximize the life of the belting. "
