Taco Bell, Irvine, Calif., expanded its retail footprint with the introduction of
Cheddar Crisps. Made by baking cheese into crisps and seasoning with Mexican

Bite-sized pretzel rounds
Snyder's of Hanover, Hanover, Pa., debuted two new product platforms: Pretzel
Rounds and Twisted Pretzel Sticks. The Pretzel Rounds are bite-size pretzels and
come in sea salt and butter flavors. Each 28-gram serving contains 110 calories

Spiced-up cheese balls
As spicy flavors trend upward, Planters, Glenview, Ill., launched three new flavors
of its Cheez Balls cheese-flavored corn snacks to meet the demand. The flavors
include Jalapeño Cheddar, Blazin' Hot and Nacho Cheez. The Nacho Cheez and
Blazin' Hot flavors are available now, and the Jalapeño Cheddar variety will be
released later this year.
