A new product line from Angelic Bakehouse, Cudahy,
Wis., promises to bring a level of nutrition and flavor
that will be hard to match in the chip or cracker category.
"At Angelic Bakehouse, we push the limits of what
delicious and nutritious can be," said Jenny Marino, the
company's founder. "We've done that again with these
incredibly snackable and craveable crisps. One look at
these colorful crisps in red, purple and yellow tells you
these are a completely different type of cracker."

rely on the brand's Sprouted and Fresh Pressed Grains
and a variety of fruits and vegetables to deliver a healthier and tastier snacking option to consumers. Wheat
berries, quinoa, millet, oat groats, barley, rye berries and
amaranth are all part of the company's sprouted whole
grain mix, which goes through a sprouting process
that increases the crisps' antioxidants, vitamin-B and
soluble fiber levels. Per 1-oz serving, the crisps provide
4 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 11 grams of
whole grains. The 7 Sprouted Whole Grains Crisps are
also free from a slew of ingredients, including eggs, nuts,
dairy, soy, sesame and GMOs.
Ensuring that consumers of all ages would enjoy this
snack in a variety of applications was a top priority for
Angelic Bakehouse.
"Our new crisps are the perfect dual-purpose chip
that's great for the charcuterie board as well as a standalone snack," Ms. Marino noted. "With a wide range of
flavors, sweet and savory, there's something for adults

and kids. [These] crisps are packed with the nutrition
many parents are looking for along with an incredible
taste profile that ensures these will keep going out of the
cupboard and back on the grocery list."
The crisps are available in four varieties and can be
added to a range of other products. The Pickled Sweet
Onion & Beet and Fig & Tarragon Vinaigrette varieties present sweet and savory flavors that match well
with cheeses and salads, while the Harissa Green Chile
& Sweet Potato crisps can bring a spicy kick as a soup
topping or dipping chip. As one of the sweeter flavors,
Blueberry & Zesty Lemon crisps can be a healthier dessert or serve as a breakfast chip, accompanying yogurt
and smoothies.
In addition to rolling out this snack, Angelic
Bakehouse also launched an advertising campaign to
promote the benefits of its sprouted grain products,
which include breads, buns, wraps and crusts. The promotion encourages body positivity and hopes to put an
end to what the company describes as "carb-shaming."
"The BreadBod campaign underscores the fact that
there is no uniform version of what a healthy body
looks or eats like," said  Rebecca Coleman, founder of
Something Massive, the agency behind the campaign.
"With fad diet followers on the offensive against carbs,
we wanted to create an almost counter-culture campaign
that celebrates real food and gives people permission to
enjoy bread again."
