Continuous masa production
The Masa Maker from Heat and Control transforms the traditional process, saving thousands of gallons of water and reducing production time from hours to

Range of dough dividers
The Vemag dough divider from Reiser features a double-screw portioning system
that provides accurate scaling with minimal work on the dough. For some frozen
pizza dough producers, the company supplies traditional dividing and rounding. For high-speed producers, it has developed methods to portion directly onto
trays. For fresh producers, the dividing applications run from small Vemag 500
applications with a cutoff producing 60 to 80 portions per minute to larger Vemag
HP-E models and servo cutoffs producing hundreds of portions per minute.

Versatile buscuit packer
Cavanna Packaging's PI.co machine can run piles and slugs of biscuits on the same
machine with no change of parts. The system is capable of running speeds of up
to 1,600 biscuits per minute in either packaging format. The machine is suited for
manufacturers who want smaller package sizes for their customers. The system can be
changed over in under 2 minutes with a recipe change on the HMI. A wide variety of
wire cuts, rotary moulded biscuits and sandwich biscuits can also run on this system.

Increased slicing capacity
The MicroAdjustable Slicing Head (SL-14) from Urschel features 14 cutting stations that maximize slice engagement. This cutting station design delivers much
higher capacities vs. the standard, fully adjustable 8-station cutting head. For use
on the Model CC Slicer, switching over to the SL-14 from the standard 8-station
head requires no special adapters. The new slicing design concept does not incorporate shims or shoes and offers tool-free knife changeovers. Weighing in at 35 lb
with built-in lifting handles, the SL-14 can be easily removed and replaced.
