Accurate, consistent forming system
The FS 521 forming system from Handtmann is designed with the flexibility to produce a variety of special shapes and sizes of baked
goods. It can create round, spherical, cylindrical and rectangular bars at a high throughput rate as well as small dough balls and appetizer-sized baked goods.
Designed for any size bakery, the machine has an average capacity range of 500 pieces per minute depending on product size and
weight. The FS 521 offers two, four, six and eight lanes of production to meet the needs of small and large bakeries.
Cesar Zelaya, bakery sales and technology manager, Handtmann, said the industry needed an extruding system with the flexibility
to feed directly into fryers, bread and roll makeup systems, laminating lines or ovens. "Before, multiple machines were required to produce a wide range of shapes and sizes that are now available on the FS 521," he said.
The system's servo drives and HMI ensures proper dough piece shape and weight accuracy.
