Commercial sweetener production
Cargill began commercial production of EverSweet, a zero-calorie sweetener
made with Reb M and Reb D found in the stevia leaf. Cargill partnered with the
natural ingredients supplier Evolva to develop the ingredient. The use of Reb M
and Reb D allows Cargill to avoid bitter aftertastes and focus on the sweet
taste of stevia.

Non-GMO stevia sweetener
Ingredion and SweetGen's sweetener BESTEVIA Reb D achieved Non-GMO
Project verified status. The stevia-based sweetener features high-purity levels of
Reb D to provide a sugar-like taste. The companies' BESTEVIA Reb M sweetener
also is Non-GMO Project verified.
